I have been making my own toothpaste since the beginning of this year and have found that there is such a big difference, so I want to share it with you. It’s super easy to make! But why go DIY?
Conventional Toothpaste has ingredients that we sometimes do not even know. If you’re reading the label and see that you do not recognize an ingredient – look it up. Typically, it’s those long words that we do not recognize in daily products we use that can be toxic. It’s your body – you have the right to know what goes inside! Here’s the super easy (and fruity) toothpaste you can make in a few seconds.
*Strawberry Peppermint Freshness*
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
A Drop of Peppermint Oil
Whatcha gotta do:
1. Take the strawberries and mush them up with a fork in a little bowl.
2. Add a teaspoon of baking soda on top of the strawberries.
3. Stir together and add a drop of peppermint oil.
4. Take your brush and dip it in your paste.
5. Brush and Rinse!
You can store it up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator and refill as necessary. I prefer to use glass mason jars with a tight lid on. Unless you want everything smelling minty fresh!
